MEILI LU · OUR FOUNDER

A love of beauty.
A belief in yourself.

More than a decade ago, Meili Lu left a steady job and began a jewellery business with two close friends. From a small pearl-market stall to Mei & Tidemere, she has guided the brand through a personal love of pearls, jade and thoughtful design.

For her, jewellery is a personal choice: a way for each woman to express her own beauty and feel confident in who she is. Today, she is bringing that belief to a new chapter in the UK.

A small beginning.A wider world.

More than a decade ago, Meili Lu left a stable job, brought two close friends together and led them into the pearl markets. Amid countless stalls, they began to build a place of their own through patient craft and a love of jewellery.

Under Meili’s direction, Mei & Tidemere grew through WeChat-based selling and livestreaming, earning the trust of long-standing clients. Now she is leading its next chapter in the UK, carrying that experience and belief in women’s possibilities into a wider world.
